The Journal of Clinical Sport Psychology (JCSP) is intended to be a scholarly refereed journal designed to stimulate thought, promote empirical investigation, and disseminate scientifically informed knowledge related to the comprehensive psychological care and overall well-being of athletes, coaches, and sport organizations. Included will be topics relating to psychological health and well-being of athletes and coaches, psychological aspects of athletic performance, as well as issues and concerns that connect physical and psychological functioning.

 

The Journal seeks to promote an understanding of theory, technique, and empirical findings specifically related to the integrated practice of clinical, counseling, and sport psychology, and emphasizes the integration of empirical research and direct psychological service delivery spanning a wide range of clients and settings.

 

JCSP is intended to be international in scope and receptive to diverse methodologies, theoretical models, populations, and settings. JCSP is published for clinical, counseling, and sport psychology specialists who are engaged in a variety of contexts including private, public, and educational settings.
