The test bank, written by Sarah Price, PhD, and created with Respondus, includes a bank of 442 questions, including true-false, fill-in-the-blank, essay and short answer, matching, and multiple-choice. With Respondus LE, a free version of the Respondus software, instructors can create print versions of their own tests by selecting from the question pool; create, store, and retrieve their own questions; select their own test forms and save them for later editing or printing; or export the tests into a word processing program.
Instructors or institutions may purchase from Respondus an upgrade to the free software. With the upgrade, instructors can create and manage exams through a variety of course management systems, including Blackboard, eCollege, WebCT, and others. Consult this list of campus-wide licenses for Respondus to see if your institution is on it.

The presentation package, written by Sarah Price, PhD, includes a comprehensive series of PowerPoint slides for each chapter. Learning objective slides present the major topics covered in each chapter, and text slides list key points.
The presentation package has more than 250 slides that can be used directly with PowerPoint to print transparencies and slides or to make copies for distribution to students. Instructors can easily add, modify, or rearrange the order of the slides. See the User Instructions for more information on modifying the slides to fit your needs.
The image bank, also delivered in PowerPoint, includes most of the figures, content photos, and tables from the text. Instructors can easily add, modify, or rearrange the order of the image bank slides.
Instructors can insert images from the image bank into the blank PowerPoint template provided, or into their own presentations. For instructions on reusing the images within your own PowerPoint template, see the User Instructions.
The blank PowerPoint template can be used for creating and customizing a new presentation. It includes a blank chapter opener slide, a blank text slide, and a blank borderless slide to be used for illustrations, photos, and tables. Images from the book can be imported into the template from the accompanying image bank. Easy-to-follow instructions can be found in the file named User Instructions.
